International Observe the Moon Night 2025

The Roger Williams Park Museum of Natural History and LunaSCOPE invite people of all ages who want to observe and learn more about the Moon on Saturday, October 4.

10-4PM: Learn about the formation of craters, challenge yourself with Moon trivia, find out what it takes to go to the Moon, and complete a Moon museum quest. Free with museum admission.

12-2pm: Discover the Moon with LunaSCOPE Researchers Dr.Hairuo Fu and Dr. Nicholas Wagner. Free with museum admission.

2pm: FORWARD! TO THE MOON  Fulldome Planetarium Show 

7-8:30PM: Moon Hike with Telescope Viewing at North Burial Ground      Free! No registration required!
